RTR Summary Report now available

The latest RTR summary report has been published, outlining the project’s recent progress and ongoing technical work.

Within the RTR Conference, HighScape contributed to the joint session on “Power Electronics for Electric Vehicles”, where discussions focused on system-level challenges and technology pathways for next-generation EV components. Particular attention was given to how different projects align in advancing GaN and SiC technologies and their combined potential.

The exchange also highlighted considerations beyond pure performance, such as the current gap between research and real-world deployment, and the practical limits of recycling approaches compared to design-for-integration strategies. In addition, variability in EV usage, driven by seasonality and driving behaviour, was identified as an important factor not yet fully reflected in existing analyses.
