Power Electronics, Thermal Management & Inspiring Conversations – this was RTR2026

RTR2026 offered a vibrant and energizing setting for the HighScape team. As part of the session “Power electronics for electric vehicles,”the project highlighted why power electronics play such a pivotal role in shaping the entire EV ecosystem – on equal footing with electric motors themselves. Together with us, the 2ZERO projects HiPE, SCAPE, Powerdrive and RHODaS were presented.

Eric Armengaud from Armengaud Innovate GmbH showcased the project’s ongoing work, that resulted in an inspiring Q&A Session and further deep-dives at the E‑VOLVE Cluster stand, sparking open discussions and great follow‑up questions.

What truly stood out at RTR2026 was the community atmosphere: spontaneous technical deep dives, experts exchanging ideas on impact, and a shared enthusiasm about tackling challenges in next‑generation vehicle electronics together. HighScape will continue its activities and we are looking forward presenting you updates from our WP5, Thermal Mangement, soon. 2Zero State Representative Group visits Politecnico di Torino

Politecnico di Torino was pleased to welcome the 2Zero State Representative Group for a visit dedicated to ongoing Horizon Europe activities supporting the transition to zero-emission mobility. The meeting offered an opportunity to showcase Politecnico di Torino’s active role as a partner in three Horizon Europe projects EM-TECH, HighScape, and SmartCorners, and their contribution to the objectives of the 2Zero Partnership.

The visit fostered an open exchange on project progress, innovative technological and urban solutions, and the strong synergies emerging across the three initiatives. It also highlighted the importance of connecting European policy ambitions with concrete research and innovation actions, strengthening collaboration between institutional stakeholders and project partners working towards a more sustainable, zero-emission transport future.

At the HighScape General Assembly this July in Ljubljana, Elaphe welcomed project partners for two days of collaboration and exchange, complemented by vehicle test drives and a dedicated press event with selected media representatives.
We are pleased to share Andrew Lambrecht’s feature in “INSIDE EVs”, which showcases Elaphe’s technology and covers activities that took place during the joint gatherings of HighScape and SmartCorners in Ljubljana.
