Our HighScape project is, together with the EM-TECH project, featured in the latest newsletter of the E-VOLVE Cluster. The article is about the common publication that both projects wrote for the FISITA World Congress 2023.

Together with the partners of the EM-TECH project, the HighScape consortium has been putting together a paper on “Innovative e-Machine and Power Electronics Solutions for e-Axle and e-Corner vehicle Powertrains“ that was presented by Eric Armengaud at the FISITA World Congress 2023 in Barcelona.
In HighScape, we are – among others – building on project results generated by the EVC1000 Project; The Electric Vehicle Components for 1000km daily trips.
The aim of this project, that was successfully completed in 2022, was to provide innovative and mass-production optimised components enabling the efficient integration of powertrain and chassis systems, which will increase Electric Vehicles (EV) range and user acceptance.
It is pleasing to see that the EVC1000 Project, part of E-VOLVE Cluster, has been mentioned in the latest CORDIS Results Pack. The results of the EVC1000 project provide a solid background for our ongoing activities such as the HighScape and the EM-TECH project, which are developing new efficient technologies for electric drives and their components within HorizonEurope programme.
The HighScape project was presented to a broad public and young professionals as part of the Ilmenau Science Night on July 1, 2023 on the campus of TU Ilmenau. Numerous visitors gained first insights into the project concept and its contribution to green mobility technologies.

Second HighScape project meeting is done and here is a short report what we experienced:
In the sixth month of the HighScape project, the consortium got together in Guildford, UK to meet, discuss the progress performed and plan the next steps in the project execution.
Day 1 was very intensive and was filled with good discussions, great collaborative spirit and results that count. This day concluded with the social event, which are an essential part of such project meetings; getting together in an informal setting and exchanging beyond the project content is fruitful for further cooperation. It didn’t happen just once that the solution to any challenge or the idea for a publication happened outside the meeting room.
The second day started with the group picture to be then followed by interesting discussions on different aspects of the project – including but not limited to outreach activities. The plans are there, actions are set and we can continue in the collaborative spirit already established during the last 6 months. We would like to thank all participants and especially our hosts for this excellent meeting in the beautiful surrounding of Guildford. We are very much looking forward to our further on- and offline exchange-
